Like Deliverance With Food!

My husband and I took a chance on this "Deliverance-esque" restaurant and let me tell you, we really should have kept on driving past this trashy place. As you walk in, they call you, "Cousin" and the waitresses are dressed in frightening prairie outfits. I don't know if anyone has watched HBO's hit series, "Big Love" - but this place looks like a Polygamist Commune! Some could call this nightmare, "quaint," however, I found it frightful. Our order was taken and we were completely forgotten about and ignored. Couples who had arrived AFTER us were receiving food BEFORE us! We asked a "Cousin" where our order was and after about 20 minutes, the prairie leader came over and said, "Do you remember what you ordered?!" We stormed out and will NEVER EVER go back! I HATE COUSINS RESTAURANT and you will too!

Great for family nights out. Not recommended for a romantic for two though!!

This restaurant is one of the best in terms of friendliness,family oriented, and food. They make all their food fresh on the premises. There is a small bar, with a homey atmosphere. The employees are very nice, calling everyone "cousins", are quick to take your order and food is delivered fast. I recommend this establishment.

We stopped on our way through the Dalles on a road trip. We liked this place because the food was great, the service was good, and the booths provided enough privacy to feed the baby.
